Ngoma is set on a plateau, overlooking the Chobe River and floodplain. All eight thatched river-facing suites have spacious internal and external living areas, a large luxury bath, an inside and outside shower, air conditioning, overhead fans, mini bar, tea/coffee facilities including a Nespresso machine. In addition, each suite has a private ‘refresh and relax’ pool conveniently located in the external living area. All rooms are equipped with three-quarter beds that can be converted to a king size bed.
Game Drives
Game drives are conducted in the mornings and afternoon/evening, they can also be taken as a full day drive with picnic lunch. They usually last about three hours each and are conducted along the river systems of the Chobe area. The wildlife in the area is prolific and chances are good to see some of the larger predators, herds of elephant and buffalo. Night drives are conducted in the early evening offering one a chance to see the smaller more nocturnal animals with spotlights on the Chobe Forest Reserve.
Boat Safaris
Adventurers can recline in comfort on a riverboat cruise, as it gently navigates over the still water of the Chobe River. Revel in the breathtaking scenery of a sun drenched sky brushed with myriad pink hues, whilst sipping on decadent cocktails mirroring similar tints. The cruise affords guests an opportunity to view the Park’s wildlife from an unusual perspective, as they congregate around the river edge. Marvel at the mighty elephant splashing in the shallows, the dramatically horned roan antelopes grazing near the shore and the stealthy lions that rule over the plains.
